Who is going to be the first to report me?

Do you find it kinda creepy that the White House is asking for you to report people that do not agree with THE One?

Facts Are Stubborn Things
(If you get an email or see something on the web about health insurance reform that seems fishy, send it to flag@whitehouse.gov.)

Posted by Macon Phillips

Opponents of health insurance reform may find the truth a little inconvenient, but as our second president famously said, "facts are stubborn things."

Scary chain emails and videos are starting to percolate on the internet, breathlessly claiming, for example, to "uncover" the truth about the President’s health insurance reform positions.

In this video, Linda Douglass, the communications director for the White House’s Health Reform Office, addresses one example that makes it look like the President intends to "eliminate" private coverage, when the reality couldn’t be further from the truth.

For the record, the President has consistently said that if you like your insurance plan, your doctor, or both, you will be able to keep them. He has even proposed eight consumer protections relating specifically to the health insurance industry.

There is a lot of disinformation about health insurance reform out there, spanning from control of personal finances to end of life care. These rumors often travel just below the surface via chain emails or through casual conversation. Since we can’t keep track of all of them here at the White House, we’re asking for your help. If you get an email or see something on the web about health insurance reform that seems fishy, send it to flag@whitehouse.gov.

Here are the complete videos that Linda refers to. First from the AARP:

And then from the President’s news conference:

New York is a hectic place. People in New York work long hours, live near many different types of people, and don’t usually live near nature, or in quiet, calm places. I’d like to hear from people in New York and out of New York about their experiences in New York. Do you find that people in New York tend to be less emotionally healthy or well-adjusted? Does living in New York affect people in negative ways, or is it just a culture like any other culture that people can either adjust to or dislike?

Are medical exam rooms required to have a sink?

Does anyone know if Michigan medical offices are required to have a sink in each exam room? If not, any suggestions on where to find out?
I am wondering if Michigan medical exam rooms require a sink to be in each exam room. I am not suing or anything like that. A client of mine wants to know because they are moving into a new building and need to know what to look for by law.
Sheesh. Everyone assumes I’m trying to sue someone. =( My client is moving and needs to know if it’s something he has to have in every exam room.

Cheap Life Insurance for Full-Time College Student, Low Income?
I’m 19 year old female in Ohio. I had previously been on medicaid because I was still a minor. Now that I’m 19, I’m kicked off of it. I’m low income. I have a part time job and I’m enrolled at college full time. I’m looking for a cheap life insurance plan.

Also I’m a bit confused about terminology. Okay so is the deductible the amount you pay before they cover anything? Like for example, if it has a 00 deductible and I go to the doctor and it costs 200 bucks, they don’t cover anything? Cause that sucks.
