My husband and I are 28 years old, have three children and plan to have one more child in the near future. We live in Virginia (DC area). His annual earnings are about k; I also work part time earning annually about k. We currently have life insurance through our employers, but we want to get policies on our own. Can anyone recommend a good company to go with and a type of policy that we should get?

Are valuable items in danger in NYC shelters. I’m about to become homeless, and i don’t wanna have to sell my laptop. How long can a person be allowed to stay in an intake shelter?

Some lady merged into me and knocked off my mirror. It isn’t a huge deal, but I don’t want to pay for it to get fixed because that defeats the purpose of having insurance. GM’s balance sheets show that they have had a shareholder DEFICIT since 2006. It is my understanding that under corporate law companies can’t pay dividends if this is the case. However, GM paid dividends until the middle of 2008. How can this be?

If I am 63 years old, male; if I were to buy a ,000 term life policy today and should pass away 2-5 years after starting the policy, Will all or any portion of the ,000 be paid??? Basically, I want to know how much it costs to be the title sponsor for that kind of event. If anyone could find how much the other sponsors paid for their sponsorships, that would be a big help, too.

Life insurance companies ask tons of questions. Can they deny you because you have a felony on your record? If you are untruthful on an application can your benefits be denied when payment is due? If you are denied life insurance because of a criminal record what is your recourse?

My Daughter recently had a baby and the babies father passes away this past Janurary. Baby was born this August and after she applied for Death Benefits for her son. The SS office said that he ( the babies Father) had not worked enough quarters to be eligible for benefit. Now the childs father was on 24. He started working at the age of 19. Now as I do understand if you haven’t paid in enough then a person isn’t qualified to benefit but my questions is so there any other place or services that would help out a young lady and her baby in this case. Yes, the answer would be get a job but since she can’t collect child support what might her other options be. Just doesn’t seem fair for the child. All women deserve or anyone that is taking care of their child should get child support. Thanks for any help or comments. My daughte is currently trying to find a job but like every one else it is diffiuclt.
