I am doing an ad analysis for my advertising class and chose to analyze the State Farm "I’ll Be There" commercial (link provided below).
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_fW8jMWiLXo
I need to identify who the target market would be for this commercial, both primary and secondary. If you could provide any assistance, it would be appreciated.
Thanks

I worked as a salaried manager and paid for additional insurance. I was worngfully terminated due to workers comp. I never received anything from employer regarding life insurance policy I had paid extra for for over 8 yrs. Can they do this? Am I eligible for 1035 exchange or some type of rollover?

I had a call from a life insurance company asking me if I was my former husbands wife at the time of his death. which by the way was 6 and 1/2 years ago. any way they asked me a few questions and told me that because he was divorced from his ex wife at the time of his death that voided her out as the one who could claim the death benefit. and because I was his wife then he needed my info, he said he would call me back in a few days to let me know about the proceeds. I was very stunned and like an idoit didn’t get anymore info, like a phone# or what company. But can a divorce over ride a listed benefeciary, does this sound right? I work for an insurance company and that’s not how our life policies work. whoever is listed, divorced or not gets the death benefit.
I didn’t give any personal info, they asked if I was his wife at the time of death and if I was remarried or if my last name was the same and if I toolk care of the estate at the time of his death. those were the only questions they asked.
I just read that there could be a clause that says the bebeficary must be married at the time of death. which if his ex was listed they weren’t married anymore. we were. sound correct?

Tonight’s episode shows all the main characters in the show smoking and trying to quit (a little weird to do this after being on the air 3 years, would’ve been a good first season episode). So I was wondering if it’s an "inside joke" and if the cast all smoke in real life. I had heard that Jason Segel smokes but nothing on the others. Just curious.

With all the talk of Government Health care on the horizon, I’m wondering if there is any part in the plan to credit those that have been paying health insurance premiums for years.
Perhaps some of our Canadian friends can tell us what to expect in that regard?

I would rather pay out of pocket for the flu and not pay the crazy premiums, but would like an insurance for accidents if they occur.

Hi. I am probably going to stay at the I-house this summer and was wondering what life is like there? Also, do you happen to know anything, in particular, that I should bring there and is it really true that there is now AC during the summer? Sorry for going on and ranting on like this and thanks.

I have the option of COBRA with subsidy for my old group health plan (somewhat expensive for me now) or a standard Blue Cross HMO for free. The BCBS HMO only lasts ten months versus the 18 months COBRA lasts. This is in Massachusetts. I can’t really pay the subsizided premium, but I don’t want to lose coverage sooner either. Thoughts?
