My mother recently passed away. Unfortunately my father is extremely shady. The were divorced over 12 years ago. I am worried that there may be a life insurance policy showing him as the Beneficiary. How can I go about finding out if there is one and if so who is named on it? My father is the last one I want to benefit from her death. Especially after putting her through so much when she was still alive.

I know my future mother in law for almost 10 years. I know she is someone who is really controlling. It really get to me, but the entire time I just didn’t care because I thought it is my life and I had control over my own life. Not until now… We are living there them soon because we just brought a house near them. This is the store. I am trying to buy insurance for my love one’s car because they said they can not buy for him because the car under his name. I said fine. I can buy it for him. Therefore, I call up an agent. She ask me what agency I use and what is the agent name. I told her, but feel little weird about it. Well, one day later she told me she called the agent and tell him to work on the paper work faster and also they email his boss that the agent take too long. I was so upset with that part. Our wedding is coming up. She wants to see the wedding dress and I show it to her. She wasn’t happy at all in the wedding place. She was kept talking about her daughter. When my daughter going to get marry and talk about divorce and talk about what people going to do with the wedding dress. I felt so bad. I try to make myself feel happy, but in my heart I felt so bad. She call me another day that she wants her daughter which my future sister in law to be in my wedding or part of my wedding as my bridemaid which she is someone who I don’t talk to at all because she does not like me. But my future mother in law insist that I should do it so she does not feel like left out. I don’t know what to do because it is my wedding and I don’t want her to be part of it. I had a bad history with this sister in law. My future mother in law also asked me in front that my sister in law going to use an old dress for the bridemaid dress. Which my bridemaid already thinking picking a color they want. What should I do? I had talk to my love one, he said that he does not know what to do? On top of this I am the one who pay for the wedding…

A friend asked me this the other day and I don’t think it is possible but maybe someone out there knows. If you are on social security disability now and you attempt to work (they give you nine months every 5 years to try) – and if you cannot keep the job because of your disability can you claim disability at the new job? ie – the new job offers short term and long term disability insurance.

What would you do if you knew (or had strong suspicions) that one of your friends or relatives was making a false or staged insurance claim? Would you report it to their insurer, or would you be frightened in case the friend/relative suspected it was you who reported them, and therefore consider it not worth risking your relationship/friendship over? I know this sounds like a weird question, but I work in insurance and am curious about what people think.

I have Aetna through my job and I am pregnant. After I have the baby do I have to out the baby on my insurance or is it possible to get a Medicaid HMO? They dont pay for maternity leave and adding someone is more expensive. I was wondering if I can just put the baby on A medicaid hmo in the mean time just for shots and check ups.
