So I go contacts (2 week wear/soft) this mid-December, and after 1 week of wearing them I got pinkeye (symptoms similar to it) in my left eye. After letting it clear up while wearing glasses, I put new lenses in my eyes, and I now have pinkeye (again, no real medical exam confirmed this) but now in my right eye. I have been very careful with cleaning my contacts and my hands. Could I be allergic?

Can I be an air traffic controller if I have taken LSD?

I am doing an aptitude test to be an air traffic controller. If I get past the testing & interview stage there will be a full medical exam. I have taken LSD on a few occasions, will they be able to tell because if they can there’s no point in me applying?

I didn't pass the medical exam for the navy, but i passed everything else can i reapply for a different branch?

had some counseling when i was younger because i came from a neglectful family. june of 1994 i was adopted at age 12 and my adopted family wanted me to get some counseling. I told the recruiter this info and i was told to lie about this. When it came time for the medical exam i told the examiner about that and they just said no, you can’t join. There was no re-evaluation from their doctors. what can i do? I feel like ive been discriminated against because i got counseling that helped me become a better person today.

Can the physical exam for medica clearance be done by a civilian physician?

my husband is in tech school and got his PCS orders for England. I have to get a medical exam before I can be sent over with him and I was wondering if I can go through a civilian physician for this because it is virtually impossible getting any information from people that work at the family clinic/hospital. The man I spoke to had no idea what I was even talking about when I called to set up an appointment, please help! Running out of time!

Is it obligatory to take a medical exam before starting a new job in the US?

In my country it is. No matter what the job is, you have to take a little medical exam (usually they just check your blood and lungs). Is it the same in the US?

Failing Medical Exam for job?

Recently i had to go take a medical exam. i failed my medical exam for a local grocery store that i was going to work at. They said that because of my limitations, i failed.

The limitations they are talking about was spinal surgery i had about 8 years ago at the age of 13. Im now 21 and really have no lingering effects of it. My spine doctor said that i would be able to do whatever i wanted to and that i had no limitations a few years ago.

Hell im in kick boxing class this semester in college so i literally have no limitations. I wouldnt be able to take the class if i did.

My question is if i can possibly do something to reverse this failed medical exam? Would it be possible to get a note from my spine doctor giving me an ok saying i had no limitations? Or is this the final decision?

Can I take medical exam before taking the ASVAB?

I want to join the navy but i want to take the medical exam before the ASVAB so that way i know if i will pass or not. I don’t really want to study that thick ASVAB book and later not pass the medical…..

Can a medical exam be possible even if I lack requirements? Please help?

I’ll be having my interview a month from now, all documents are prepared. The only thing that isn’t is the medical exam. I don’t have my vaccination records. My family used to move a lot. I tried hunting down for my records but even the doctor and the hospitals are of no help.

Please help, is it still possible for me to get my test even without the records?

important to get life insurance, as they don't earn an income, but if you think about the huge expense that it would be if they had to hire someone to do all of the tasks they do now, it would be considerable. Or if you had a special needs family member at home, living with you, it would cost a lot of money to hire a person to to the daily errands, cooking, cleaning and so on that you now do for that person.
Life insurance for a stay at home parent would allow the family to hire people in the event of your death to continue doing all of those daily tasks that you were formerly doing for the family members.
You would calculate the amount needed for a life insurance policy based on the amount of money you earn now and what is needed to replace that income in the event of your death.
What are the types of life insurance?
There is Term Life Insurance. This kind of a policy is for a certain set term or period of time. You pay monthly toward the coverage and at the end of the term, you do not collect any sum of money, but you are fully covered in case of death for the duration of that term.
Whole Life Insurance is different. A Whole Life policy is when you are fully insured for the entire period of your life.
The money paid into this policy is placed in an investment fund and usually the premium remains the same in the beginning but usually is increased after the first few years.
This kind of policy is more expensive but the benefit is that there is a payout.
You need to carefully calculate the sum insured. You should calculate your assets and debts value and also compare your annual income and expenses. Then find out how much amount your family will need to have so they do not face a financial crisis if something should happen to you.
